Schon jetzt gilt die polnische Gesetzgebung in Bezug auf Schwangerschaftsabbruch als eine der strengsten in Europa. Neben ungewollt schwangeren Menschen sind diejenigen, die Schwangerschaftsabbrüche durchführen oder ungewollt schwangere Menschen unterstützen ebenfalls im Fokus der Gesetzgeber*innen.

Nun könnte das Gesetz noch einmal verschärft werden. Die Gesetzesänderung, die unter dem Titel „Zatrzymaj aborcję“ (deutsch: Stoppt die Abtreibung) von Abtreibungsgegner*innen eingebracht wurde, wird am 15. und 16. April 2020 vom polnischen Parlament diskutiert.  

Verschiedene Gruppen rufen nun dazu auf, sich mit den polnischen Pro Choice-Aktivist*innen zu solidarisieren. Diesem Aufruf folgen wir mit diesem Video!  

Already today Poland has one of the most restrictive abortion laws in Europe. Besides the pregnant person those who perform abortions or help people with unwanted pregnancies are also in the focus. 

Now this law could be tightened even more. Polish parliament is set to discuss the ban on abortion draft bill and a ban on sex education draft bill during a sitting next week on 15th-16th April 2020. 

Various groups are now calling for action to show solidarity with the Polish Pro Choice activists. With our video and pictures we’re doing exactly that.
